Shipping & Delivery

At Lean & Wild, we are committed to delivering our wild venison products safely, efficiently and in the best possible condition. As our products are perishable, we use carefully selected delivery services and insulated packaging to maintain product quality throughout transit.

Delivery Areas

We currently deliver to addresses within mainland Great Britain.

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to:

  • Northern Ireland

  • The Channel Islands

  • The Isle of Man

  • The Scottish Highlands and Islands (where courier service restrictions apply)

  • International destinations

If you are unsure whether we deliver to your postcode, please contact our customer service team before placing your order.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout and will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

From time to time, we may offer free delivery promotions, which will be subject to separate terms and conditions.

Dispatch Times

Orders are processed during our normal business hours, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Orders received after our published order cut-off time will be processed on the next working day.

To ensure products are not held in courier depots over weekends, we may delay dispatch of orders placed later in the week until the following Monday.

Delivery Times

We aim to deliver orders within 1–3 working days of dispatch.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occasionally occur due to factors outside our control, including adverse weather, courier disruptions or periods of exceptionally high demand.

Perishable Products

Our products are supplied chilled and packaged using insulated materials designed to keep them at a safe temperature during transit.

Upon delivery, customers should:

  • inspect their order promptly;

  • refrigerate products immediately; or

  • freeze products if they will not be consumed by the use-by date.

Please follow the storage instructions provided on the product packaging.

Delivery Responsibilities

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure:

  • the delivery address is accurate and complete;

  • someone is available to receive the order where required; and

  • products are brought indoors and refrigerated as soon as reasonably possible following delivery.

If you provide delivery instructions (such as leaving the parcel in a safe place), you accept responsibility for the order once it has been delivered in accordance with those instructions.

Failed Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed because:

  • the address provided is incorrect;

  • access cannot be gained;

  • the parcel is refused; or

  • no safe delivery option is available,

additional delivery charges may apply. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we may be unable to offer refunds or replacements in these circumstances.

Damaged or Missing Orders

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If your order arrives:

  • damaged;

  • incomplete;

  • incorrect; or

  • not in a satisfactory condition,

please contact us within 24 hours of delivery, providing your order number and, where possible, photographs of the products and packaging.

We will investigate the issue promptly and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, refund or other suitable resolution in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Delays Outside Our Control

Lean & Wild is not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • severe weather;

  • road closures;

  • industrial action;

  • courier network disruptions; or

  • other unforeseen circumstances.

Where possible, we will keep customers informed of any significant delays.
